Hand Painted Kitchen Three Ashes, Herefordshire

In this recent project, I had the privilege of returning to a location that has become something of a second home, in feel —Three Ashes, Herefordshire. Over a decade ago, I originally hand-painted this kitchen for the owners of this magnificent barn conversion, and since then, I've been called back, periodically, to repaint with a new colour scheme. Each visit feels like a reunion with a cherished project.

This time, my clients had made several additions to the kitchen, including extra cupboard cabinets and new drawer fronts. As a result, a full repaint was needed to maintain the harmonious flow and exquisite finish that was initially achieved. The kitchen, which occupies a stunning wing of their barn conversion, presented both an exciting and challenging canvas—such a vast and dramatic space requires a meticulous approach to design and layout. The clients have done an exceptional job of zoning the area into distinct functional sections, including the kitchen, a dining area, and two elegant seating/lounge spaces.

To further elevate the space, they opted for my signature "Opulence" paint finish. This luxurious finish is a combination of my bespoke, hand-painted technique enhanced with multiple layers of lacquer. The result is a flawless, low level sheen surface that not only exudes sophistication but also ensures durability, offering peace of mind that their kitchen's beauty will endure for years to come.

The transformation is nothing short of stunning, and the clients are absolutely thrilled with the revitalised look of their breathtaking kitchen.
