Hand Painted Kitchen Stafford
Originally a varnished pine example, this kitchen in Stafford was feeling it's age - it was well made and the layout was exactly what our clients wanted; although not a massive kitchen, but it worked perfectly well!After we had carried out our degreasing and dust-free sanding procedures, our attention turned to priming... in this instance, we used a shellac based high adhesion primer and sealer called Pegaprim Isofix (tinted to the topcoat colour).
The top coat colour is the equivalent of "Pavilion Gray" mixed into Tikkurila Helmi 30; 30% sheen level. It works beautifully against the new granite worktop and gorgeous Amtico flooring that had been installed prior to us starting our part of the project - It's always best to have all other work to be completed before Hand Painting your kitchen.
The finished project is a complete departure from the original kitchen... what a transformation!!! Our client’s smiles said it all!

After contacting Martin in March we were very impressed that we were kept up to date on how we would fit into his schedule, he advised us it would be sometime in November and was true to his word. The wait was really worth it! Martin is completely professional in every area of his work, a true artisan. At the same time it was a pleasure to have him working in our home. There was a minimum of disruption and absolutely no dust, even with copious sanding. Our two Schnauzers adored him, not sure if it was the pocket full of treats or they thought he was one of them due to his extensive beard.
