Hand Painted Kitchen Craven Arms, Shropshire
This neat, smaller pine kitchen, in a beautiful period home near Craven Arms, Shropshire was originally finished in wax and installed around 10 years ago.Our clients were happy with the layout of the kitchen and also the quality of the construction, but felt that it was now looking a little tired and dated… they contacted us with photographs and details about the kitchen – we happily produced a quotation for the project within 24 hours of receiving their initial email (this is generally how quickly we turn around our quotations).
Top quality paper protection was used for worktops and floors… we don’t believe in cotton dust sheets, as these are only ‘dusty’ sheets, in our opinion. We then thoroughly degrease all surfaces to be painted.
Coats of tinted Pegaprim Isofix – Sealer Primer, were then applied in the same colour as the topcoat. The topcoats of Tikkurila Helmi (30% sheen) tinted to our client’s preferred shade finished the project.
New handles and knobs were installed to further modernise and enhance the kitchen’s look.
