Hand Painted Kitchen Redditch, Worcestershire
As a master kitchen painters I work upon a wide selection of kitchens; varnished wood, waxed wood, laminate/foil wrapped and also previously painted – this kitchen, in a tiny hamlet near Redditch, was installed over ten years ago by my clients and was originally painted by the manufacturer. Over the years it had seen lots of wear and tear, but was in remarkably good order – although it had been repainted, in the same colour, a few years back to maintain it. My clients now decided that they wanted a fresh new look.
I was told that they had looked around for quotes to replace the whole kitchen, but were quoted tens of thousands of pounds, for something that was very similar to what they already had!
I was invited to provide a quotation to Hand Paint in two colours to provide a contrast and more interest – if you take a look at the photographs below you will see that the base units were painted in the equivalent of “London Stone” and the wall units in a much lighter tone of cream…
I also striped back the oak worktop and resealed it in a specialist finish that protects against water and heat damage; effectively giving them a brand new worktop that will perform better than the original.
As you can see, the result is flawless – I handed the “new” kitchen back to our clients, they couldn’t believe the level of finish that I had achieved with my paint brushes!
