Hand Painted Kitchen Himbleton, Worcestershire
This tired Dark Oak Kitchen was looking it's age; it had been inherited by our clients some 8 years ago, when they first moved into their new home. Take a look at the 'Before" photographs below, to get a feel for what the kitchen looked like before we Hand Painted it.A new solid work top had been installed by our clients before we arrived to undertake our role (we recommend having all work completed before we Hand Paint your Kitchen).
Our preferred brand (Tikkurila) of paint was selected (Helmi 30 - 30% sheen level) and a corresponding shellac based, sealer primer to seal the Dark Oak finish and protect against leeching tannins etc.
Once all units and doors had be thoroughly degreased and prepared using our Mirka/Festool Dust Free Sanding System, we applied coat-upon-coat of colour until the finish that we demand was achieved.
Our clients were delighted with their 'new' kitchen and couldn't believe the difference that lighter units made to the whole kitchen space and their home.
