Hand Painted Kitchen Harborne, Birmingham
This was a wonderful project to work upon - originally a varnished oak finish; my clients inherited the kitchen from the previous owners and saw the potential in it!We were contacted following much research. Our clients decided upon a paint colour and finish (20% sheen level) - new door furniture and hinges were purchased to complement the smart new look.
Our usual system of comprehensive degreasing and "Dust-Free" sanding was employed, prior to painting - will little disruption to the household. Coats of a shellac based high adhesion sealer/primer were applied, followed by water-based top coats.
The finished project was a triumph - it has been transformed into a bespoke beauty... my clients were over the moon with the results! The photographs speak for themselves.
