Hand Painted Kitchen Four Oaks, Sutton Coldfield

Four Oaks, according to Wikipedia; “is a residential area in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, lying along the north and east borders of Sutton Park. Four Oaks is situated approximately 13 kilometres (8.1 mi) north of Birmingham city centre, and is bordered by Sutton Park, Streetly, Mere Green, Little Aston and Roughley”. It’s also rather a beautiful area with some incredible, substantial, properties… One of which houses our latest Hand Painted Kitchen project.

Hand Painting Kitchens is our passion. In our opinion, it’s the best job in the World; what other job could you see a clear progression, from day to day, of your work and also make such a dramatic, positive difference to people’s lives!?

This handmade Maple kitchen project is a good size (around 40 doors) and afforded us much space to move around comfortably – not always the case in every kitchen that we work upon… be assured though, that no matter the size or scale of your kitchen we always deliver the same level of attention to detail and care.

During this project we undertook our usual thorough preparation routine; degreasing, dust-free sanding and 4-5 coats of high adhesion primers and industry specific topcoats (Tikkurila from Finland mixed to a specific colour chosen by our clients).

Once painted and reassembled, the kitchen looks incredible – quite a departure from the original Maple substrate finish. Our clients could not believe their eyes and were incredibly grateful of all our hard work… they very generously gave a bronze figurine and a bottle of Cointreau as a “thank you” gift! What wonderful people we meet along the way! Our heartfelt thanks go out to them too…
