Hand Painted Furniture Malvern, Worcestershire
Not all of our Hand Painted Kitchen projects are Kitchens, sometimes they are Wardrobes and Furniture.This project, just outside Malvern, in Worcestershire was housed in a terrific, seven bedroom farmhouse. Our clients contacted us with photographs of the Dressing Room off the Master Bedroom and asked if it was possible to paint them.
The wardrobes had been fitted by a local company about ten years ago and were a foil wrapped/laminate affair. With the correct primers, of course they were paintable.
The first part of the project was to protect our client’s property – the carpet, a chenille, was covered with a Packexe Carpet Protector (similar to really wide Cellotape); we take no risks!
Once thoroughly degreased, several coats of tinted primer were applied, followed by two coats of 30% sheen level top coat, tinted to the colour selected by our clients.
New door furniture was fitted – courtesy of Swarovski and the project was complete.
Our clients were so impressed that they have invited us back to Hand Paint another Dressing Room and also their Kitchen!
